The story behind the build
Janapaksham is a Malayalam progressive news and analysis platform publishing breaking news, political commentary, interviews, art & literature and a digital magazine. A news operation lives and dies by speed and discoverability, so the site needed a content model that lets editors publish quickly and a structure that helps Google surface stories while they are still fresh.

The challenge
01News sites publish dozens of articles a week across many sections — News Beats, Analysis, Interview, English, Art & Literature, Collage, Magazine and Video. Without a disciplined taxonomy, that volume becomes an SEO liability: duplicate pathways, thin pages and slow indexing. The portal also serves Malayalam-script content that must remain perfectly readable and crawlable.
